Homelessness and digital health services: can gaps and inequalities of the healthcare system be reduced with digital tools? This was the main focus of the health research team of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta when they started research activities lasting several years. The first quick report on unique results was published, summarizing the 3 most important research programs.
In their joint projects, the Health Center of the Hungarian Charity Service and the Digital Health Research Group of Semmelweis University’s Institute of Behavioural Sciences investigate the role of online visits, telemedicine, digital device use, and health literacy in the medical care of people experiencing homelessness. The most important findings and further details about the research are now available in the quick report that can be downloaded here.
